Hi! I'm Dr. Dominique King, a doctorally-prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and practice in Hawai'i. I was raised on the East side of Oahu and am local in beautiful Hawai'i. I completed both my Doctor of Nursing Practice and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees at the Hawai'i Pacific University. I bring over 13 years of nursing experience with specialty in addiction treatment, community health, and outpatient therapy.
I see children, teens, and adults struggling with adjustment challenges, depression, anxiety, mood swings, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, C-PTSD, irritability, sleep challenges, with additional specialty in addiction psychiatry. I am able to diagnose, evaluate and treat psychiatric conditions and provide medication management and psychotherapy services.
I practice integrative psychiatry, holistic, whole-person centered care, and offer personalized visits. I am trauma-informed and understand the connection between individuals, families, and community systems and how difficult it can be to reach out for help. As a compassionate provider, I approach care with humility, respect, and genuine belief in each individual's ability to heal from within.
I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your concerns, experiences, gain insight, and build the tools you need to move forward with confidence. My goal is to help you feel grounded, supported, and empowered as you work toward healing and emotional balance.
